Low Carb Meat Sauce....4 serves

500g Grass-Fed Beef Mince

1/2 Onion,finely chopped

1 cup diced Mushrooms

1 clove minced Garlic

1 cup Passata-carbs less than 8g per100g

1/2 cup Bone Broth or any Stock

1/2 teasp Salt


















  1. Fry the Beef,Onions,Mushrooms,and Garlic in a little Butter or Olive oil

  2. Add the Passata and Bone Broth/Stock and simmer on low for 3omins

  3. Season with Salt and add Pepper if desired.

  4. This basic sauce can be used for Mexican dishes-add Coriander powder and Chipotle OR Greek/Middle Eastern-add Baharat spices or Cumin and Chilli flakes.

  5. I use half for Nachos and freeze the other half for my Moussaka the following week.ENJOY!
