Flaxseed Hotcake..1 serve

Super easy, delicious alternative to bread/pancake with healthy Omega 3's and fibre.




1 Egg beaten

30g (2 tbsp) ground Flaxseed


Beat the egg and stir in the flaxseed, wait for 2 minutes then pour into a hot, greased pan. Flip when firm and that's it!! You can make a batch for each day of the week they will keep in the fridge for that long, or freeze if you prefer. I make mine fresh everyday.


Please note; you can buy Organic Ground Flaxseed at supermarkets but I get concerned

about how long it has been on the shelf, oxidation and rancidity (that bitter taste-yuk!)

So I buy small amounts of whole organic BROWN FLAXSEEDS (from a whole foods market) store them in the fridge and grind them in my NutriBullet as I need them...I also use them for my seed crackers!
